This course provides the information needed to develop and implement NRP Provider courses in your institution. Presentations, discussion, and role-playing teach the skills to coordinate and facilitate provider programs, document and report NRP Provider Courses, and access valuable resources. Upon registration for this course, the hospital-based instructor candidate must submit several items to apply for admittance into the course.
- Evidence of current licensure as an RN, MD (or DO), Respiratory Care Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
- Evidence of current NRP Provider Card (Lessons 1 through 9)
- Evidence that the instructor candidate is supported and recommended by his or her institution as a person who has the necessary skills to be a hospital-based instructor
After eligibility is confirmed, the applicant receives confirmation of acceptance into the course. Because there is considerable homework prior to the course, please register as early as possible so that confirmation can be sent to the registrant at least 30 days prior to the course date.
