Specimen Requirements
Monday-Friday: 3 mL blood in EDTA lavender tube
After 1400 or on weekends, yellow-top (ACD) tube is the only acceptable specimen

Special Instructions
CBC with differential request must accompany Flow Cytometry test requests in order to report results

Specimens can not be refrigerated

Methodology
Antibody staining for cell surface markers (CD19, CD45, CD27 & IgD) analyzed on a flow cytometer
