We have site licenses for statistical and graphing software here at CMH. This page describes how you can load this software on your computer. You need to be attached to the CMH network in order to use this software. This means, unfortunately, that you cannot use this software on your home computer.

Installing Terminal Server Terminal server is a new and improved approach to using SPSS and SigmaPlot. You log on to a dedicated computer and run these programs on that computer rather than through the network.
Installing SPSS Software. SPSS is a program that will perform a variety of statistical analyses for your research data. We have a new approach for running SPSS software. It uses a Windows product called terminal server (also sometimes called terminal services).
Installing Earlier Versions of SPSS. You can install earlier versions of SPSS on your computer by running the program \\hhcfile1\spss\versionxx\setup\setup.exe where xx is the version number.
Unusual SPSS Error Messages As I encounter unusual SPSS error messages, I will track them here, so that if they happen again, I will remember how to fix them.
SPSS Tips. When you have a lot of SPSS output, it's not always clear how you got the output. Showing syntax in the output can help. Syntax is the programming statements that correspond to the menu choices that you make. Like any programming language, it is somewhat cryptic. Still, with a little bit of effort, you can decipher enough of it to help you remember what you did.
Installing Amos Version 4.0. You can install Amos version 4 on your computer by running the program \\Cmhfs1\Apps\Spss\Amos 4 Server\AmosClientSetup.exe and following the instructions that you find there.
Installing SigmaPlot. SigmaPlot is a program that produce publication quality graphs. This software gives you a very high level of control over the format and structure of your graphs. We will be running SigmaPlot using a Windows product called terminal server (also sometimes called terminal services). This is the same approach that we are using to run SPSS.
