Patient Care Services is dedicated to providing pediatric care that is safe, evidence-based and family-centered Patient Care Services will be recognized as the leader in pediatric health care services through a collaborative approach to evidence-based clinical practice, education and research STRATEGIC PLAN GOALS FOR BEST PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT System integration of patient care services Patient Care Services will redesign existing processes to promote system integration of services. System integration will be analyzed during planning or development of new processes and services. Evidence-based clinical care To provide quality care by making best clinical decisions based on available evidence which may include, but is not limited to; randomized clinical trials, case study/reports, internal and external benchmarks, consensus, experience and expert opinion. Quality To provide the highest level of care to our patients and create a culture of quality where the patients and families feel safe, respected and that their special needs as patients will be taken care of by the health care team.
