Clinical Services

The infectious disease clinical service provides inpatient consultation for over 1000 patients annually. An active outpatient clinic features ½ clinic 5 days per week and each faculty member takes community telephone consultations 1 day per week. Gina Weddle, RN, CPNP is the current inpatient nurse practitioner and is currently pursuing her PhD in Nursing Research. Christy Dejmal, RN, CPNP is the current outpatient nurse practitioner and is actively involved in care of HIV exposed children, those referred for latent tuberculosis and those with recurrent MRSA infection.
