Our InstructorsEvery one of our 300+ instructors has expertise in taking care of children in acute situations. From Pediatric subspecialist physicians (pediatric emergency medicine specialists, pediatric intensivists, pediatric cardiologists, etc.) to skilled pediatric nurses (from our Pediatric and Neonatal ICUs, the Emergency Department, Transport Team, and pediatric wards) to paramedics with years of field experience, each person teaching at a PALS course has proven their expertise with kids, as well as in teaching adults. In the CMH PALS Training Center, PALS Instructors teach at least 2 courses annually, and are formally monitored every two years by a Regional or Training Center Faculty member. Our Instructors maintain current PALS Provider status, so we know what it's like to "be on the other side of the table."
