General Information

“6 Henson,” is a general medical/surgical unit, whose specialties include:

• Pulmonology/Cystic Fibrosis
• Endocrine/Diabetes
• GI

We are a large, cheerful 27-bed unit. Located on the top floor of the Henson Tower, we have great views of the city and our helipad. We have a Pulmonary Function Lab on our unit for our CF patients. All patient rooms are private.

Our patients range in age from neonates to age 21+ years due to our adult Cystic Fibrosis population.

We work with the “Red Team” – one of our general medical teams composed of resident and attending physicians. We also work directly with our subspecialty pediatric medical teams: Endocrine, Pulmonology, and GI.
