The Pediatric Residency Program at Children’s Mercy Hospital in affiliation with the University of Missouri-Kansas City is a three-year program accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Accreditation by the ACGME allows graduates of this program to be eligible for board certification in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Our Pediatric Residency Program is built on a competency-based curriculum designed to provide practitioners with comprehensive knowledge and outstanding skills.
Residents will benefit from hands-on training throughout our nationally recognized medical, surgical, nursing and patient/family support services. When residents graduate from our residency program, they will be fully prepared to pursue whatever career option they choose.
We welcome your comments and questions. Please contact us if you would like additional information regarding our residency program, Children’s Mercy Hospital or the Department of Pediatrics. You can also view a sample resident contract (pdf).
