On behalf of the Section of Developmental-Behavioral Sciences and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, welcome to the Children’s Mercy Hospital Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship website.  Our faculty includes seven developmental pediatricians, three child psychiatrists, twenty-three Doctorate-level psychologists, five family therapists, as well as individuals in social work and nursing.

Our three-year, ACGME accredited fellowship provides a broad-based, comprehensive clinical, educational, and research experience for the Developmental-Behavioral Fellow.  We are committed to high quality patient care enhanced by academic and research endeavors.

The overall goal of the program is to train pediatricians for an academic career in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.  Upon completion of the training program, fellows will be eligible for board certification in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.  If desired, the fellow has the opportunity to additional training in pediatric clinical pharmacology or a master’s degree in public health or education.

We encourage you to consider our program for your future training.  For more information about the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics fellowship, please contact Kerrie J. Jordan, MS, GME Senior Coordinator, at 816-983-6487 or by email at kjjordan@cmh.edu.

We look forward to speaking with you further about our fellowship program at Children’s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics and about the unique training opportunities we have to offer to you.

Sincerely,
