  • Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
  • Pediatric Burn Unit
  • Consultations with medical and surgical specialists are available 24 hours per day
  • 24-hour ground/air emergency transport:
    • Consultations to initiate patient stabilization and arrange patient transfer are provided by critical care specialists.
  • Pediatric ancillary services that are essential for burn and trauma care:
    • Occupational therapy
    • Physical therapy
    • Social services
    • Nutrition
    • Developmental medicine
    • Respiratory therapy
  • State-of-the-art resuscitation bays dedicated solely to pediatric trauma patients
  • Outpatient and Clinic appointments

  • Acute burn injuries
  • Gunshot wounds/stabbings
  • Injuries resulting from:
    • Bicycle crashes
    • Child abuse
    • Falls
    • Motor vehicle accidents
    • Sports 
  • Scalded skin
  • Wounds of various etiologies requiring debridement, grafts or frequent dressing changes
